May 2022 CCC 3rd Anniversary Celebration!

Childhood Cancer Community’s (CCC) families all came together in May to celebrate CCC’s third anniversary. What a fun evening!

Our dinner was served by Estelle’s Eatery of Harmony, MN. The owners Matt and Heidi Brown’s little daughter, Gabby (age 2), passed away from cancer after a very brave battle. Her family is very special and great friends to many of our CCC families. Matt is a phenomenal chef and we are so grateful for their generosity. Thank you Matt and Heidi for paying it forward in honor of Gabby!

A huge thank you to Amber Poznik for the donations of the beautiful centerpieces that graced each dining table. She is a friend of CCC and a wonderful florist. She did such a nice job incorporating all of CCC’s logo colors in her design. And of course the addition of the childhood cancer gold ribbon was the perfect final touch.

We would also like to thank Donna Richardson, a very talented seamstress for providing “personal soft-side bags” for our children. They will be great for return visits to the hospital, trips to the beach, school, or anywhere they want to carry their personal items.

And thanks to CCC’s many donors, we were able to provide each child/teen a special gift in celebration! It was fun watching them trying to decide what they wanted! So much excitement.

After dinner, the parents had time to share with one another while the children and teens got to make some awesome projects!
